Diagnostic features. Body light green. Lateral margin of body light red to orange ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 27–29 ). Cicatrices of pronotum and basal angles of scutellum immaculate ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 27–29 ). Connexivum and abdominal sternites immaculate ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 27–29 ). Humeral angles not produced. Abdominal spine not produced, not reaching metacoxae; spiracles black and surrounded by a yellow callus ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 27–29 ) ( Schwertner & Grazia 2007; Servino & Schwertner 2020). Body length: 12.00–14.00 mm ( Schwertner & Grazia 2007).

Recorded host plants. Canola (Marsaro Jr. et al. 2017; Bianchi et al. 2019) and soybean ( Link & Grazia 1987).

Distribution in Rio Grande do Sul. Barra do Quaraí, Cruz Alta, Esmeralda, Santa Maria, São Sepé, Passo Fundo and Pelotas ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 27–29 ).
