Diagnostic features. Body green in living specimens, muted yellow in pinned specimens. Mandibular plates longer than clypeus ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 20–23 ) ( Brailovsky 1981). Pronotal disc and scutellum with black punctuations ( Figs 20, 22 View FIGURES 20–23 ). Anterolateral margins of pronotum sub rectilinear to strongly concave, and crenulated ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 20–23 ). Humeral angles yellowish and projected laterally. Corium with yellowish punctures ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 20–23 ). Body length: 13.80–16.00 mm ( Garbelotto & Campos 2014).

Recorded host plants. Soybean ( Costa & Link 1974; Link & Grazia 1987; Garbelotto & Campos 2014).

Distribution in Rio Grande do Sul. Eldorado do Sul, Itaara, Jóia, Santa Maria, São Sepé, São Domingos do Sul and São Francisco de Paula ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 20–23 ).

New records. Eldorado do Sul, Itaara, Jóia, São Domingos do Sul and São Francisco de Paula.
