Type material. Holotype: male, India: West Bengal, Jalpaiguri, Falakata (26°31ʹN, 89°12ʹE), 27.V.2019, coll. D. Mondal. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 2 males, same data as holotype GoogleMaps ; 2 males, same data as holotype GoogleMaps except 29.V.2019, coll. T. Mukherjee .
Diagnosis. The species is distinguished from other members of the genus by the following male features: wing membrane with few macrotrichia distally, AR 1.35–1.38, pale abdominal segments, lyrate tibial spur, broadly conical anal point, and posterior border of T IX with 9–10 setae forming an irregular transverse row.
Etymology. The species name is Larsia pauca . From the Latin paucus (few), referring to the wing membrane with few macrotrichia.
