Type species. Guangxicalopteryx huashanensis sp. nov.
Etymology. Named after Guangxi, and the genus name Calopteryx . Gender masculine.
Diagnosis. Wing venation characters only. Postnodal very numerous (ca. 60); short sclerotized pterostigma covering few cells; base of IR1 very distad that of RP2 (11 cells); no apparent distal fork of RP2; base of first intercalary between IR1 and RP1 midway between base of RP2 and pterostigma; MP and CuA weakly curved; CuAb short and weak; no secondary longitudinal vein in cubito-anal area; RP3/4 apparently distally forked.
