Lectotype (designated here by Gottschlich): — TURKEY: Pontus australis, Ak-Dagh , reg. superiore, 1900 m, 22 May 1890 (J. Bornmüller, plantae Anatoliae orientalis, 1890, N° 2226) (B barcode B 10 0484950!).—Current name: Hieracium transiens subsp. cryptonaevum (Bornm. & Zahn) Greuter.
