Ind. loc.: “Pontus: am Ak-Dagh, 1600 m, bei Amasia (Bornmüller, Pl. Anat. Or. [1890] n. 2536)! Sultan-Dagh (Bornmüller, Pl. Anat. Or. [1890] n. 5247 pp.)!”

Syntype:— TURKEY: Pontus australis, in reg.alpina montis Ak-Dagh (Amasia), 1600m, 15July1890 (Bornmüller, plantae Anatoliae orientalis 1890, n. 2236) ( B barcode B 10 0460409!).—Current name: Pilosella cymosa (Linnaeus 1763: 1126) Schultz & Schultz-Bipontinus (1862: 429) .

Remarks: —The exsiccatum number differs from that cited in the protologue (2536 versus 2236) but this is most probably due to an error in copying. It represents an insignificant variation and therefore a negligible taxon.
