Distribution. Recorded from 250–2800 m. Tropical northwest, subtropical west, temperate, subtropical east, tropical east.
Locality Data. 68 specimens examined from QCAZ: Cotopaxi (11): La Esperanza, La Maná Guasaganda, Las Pampas. Esmeraldas (2): Mayronga. Imbabura (6): Atuntaqui, Chachimbiro, San Pablo, Urcuquí. Napo (10): Coca, Río Hollín, Shushufindi, Talag, Yuturi. Pastaza (1): Puyo. Pichincha (36): Calacalí, CalacalíNanegalito (km 15), Chiriboga, La Virgen, MindoTandayapa, Palmar del Bimpe , Palmeras, Pitzara, Puerto Quito, QuitoLa Palma (km 79), San José de Minas, Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo (via Quevedo), Tandapi, Tandayapa, Toachi. Tungurahua (2): Baños .
Temporal Data. January (6), February (4), March (5), May (7), June (1), August (11), October (6), November (9), December (17).
