Material examined. Iran: Gilan province, Qazi Chak , 17. V.–23. VI .2010 , leg. M. Kheirandish, one male. Deposited in the HNHM.
Remarks. This species was recently described from North Korea, based on females ( Vas 2023b). The Iranian record suggests that this apparently rare species is widely distributed in the Eastern Palaearctic region.
Complementary description of male sex. Similar to female in all characters given in the original description ( Vas 2023b), except the following. Area basalis is barely separated from area superomedia in male (while these are distinctly separated in female), and second tergite is more elongate in male than in female, almost 2.0× as long as its apical width.
