C o m m e n t: The aedeagus of the above male is somewhat smaller (0.65 mm) and the ventral process is apically slightly less slender than in previously seen males of S. claviceps , but otherwise no evidence was found suggesting that the observed differences should be an expression of inter- rather than intraspecific variation.
