Etymology. The specific name is from the Latin word aurita meaning “ear-shaped”, referring to the outer edge of the RTA is ear-shaped.
Diagnosis. The male resembles S. forcipata sp. nov.; for detailed diagnosis see above. Female unknown.
Description. Male ( Figs 3D View FIGURE 3 , 14–15 View FIGURE 14 View FIGURE 15 ). Holotype: body 9.80 long; carapace 4.84 long, 4.06 wide, width: length = 0.84; abdomen 4.96 long, 2.70 wide. Diameters of eyes: AME 0.35, ALE 0.26, PME 0.29, PLE 0.26. Eye interdistances: AME–AME 0.16, AME–ALE 0.06, ALE–ALE 0.88, PME–PME 0.28, PME–PLE 0.35, PLE–PLE 1.47, ALE–PLE 0.16. OAW 1.71, CRW 2.43, OAW/CRW = 0.70. MOA 0.71 long, front width 0.73, back width 0.84. Clypeus height 0.38, 1.09 times AME diameter. Chelicerae with three promarginal teeth and five retromarginal teeth. Labium 0.87 long, 0.73 wide. Sternum 2.25 long, 2.22 wide. Measurements of legs: leg I 16.02 (4.33 + 1.95 + 3.82 + 3.75 + 2.17), II 15.54 (4.25 + 1.83 + 3.67 + 3.61 + 2.18), III 13.33 (3.66 + 1.62 + 2.97 + 3.24 + 1.84), IV lost.
Palp as illustrated ( Figs 3D View FIGURE 3 , 14 View FIGURE 14 E–I, 15). Tibial ventral protrusion low, inconspicuous. RTA outer edge earshaped, concave medially; ventral surface with dense thick short coniform spines. PTA triangular. Tegulum retrolateral apex round, sperm duct much thinner than that of congeners. Subtegulum with two transverse grooves on prolateral surface. Embolus long, with long and sharp embolar apophysis, both curving prolateral in ventral view; file-like grooves almost invisible on embolar apophysis surface.
