Material examined. 1♀, 34 km on C13 from Helmeringshausen, 26°05’S 16°38’E, 9.iii.1999, F.W. & S.K. Gess, visiting white fls Limeum sp. , Molluginaceae , 98/99/52 ( AMGS).
Notes. Wing pattern light brown, otherwise similar to E. lugens ; all body hair and scales pale, no black scale bands on abdomen.
