Pteraulax sp. ? ausana Hesse

Material examined. 5♂♂, 1♀, Khorixas District , Leeukop 664, 19°53’15”S 14°21’44”E, 26–30.x.2001, A.H. Kirk­Spriggs & E. Marais, Malaise trap sample river bed .

Notes. P. ausana is possibly only a form of P. eremophila which is larger but the male has not been not described. The holotype of P. ausana is 5.5 mm but the present female is 9.5 mm and the males 6–7 mm.
