Type Locality: India, NE India, Assam, Naga Hills.
Vernacular Names: Hairy-faced Myotis.
Synonyms: Myotis primula Thomas 1920 .
Distribution: NE India to Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: Includes primula ; see Topál (1970 b), who transfered the species from Pipistrellus . Reviewed by Bates and Harrison (1997); also see Hendrichsen et al. (2001 a) and Lunde et al. (2003 a).
