Type locality: Orenburg ( Russia).

Current status. Halictus (Argalictus) senilis ( Eversmann, 1852) (according to Pesenko 1984a: 9).
Remark. Description of male: Morawitz 1876: 219 (key), 230, as Halictus fucosus (synonymized by Blüthgen 1922: 47).
Distribution. North Africa, Southern Spain and Southeastern part of European Russia, Near East, Asia Minor, Transcaucasus, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Southern Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Northern Pakistan, Central Mongolia, Northwestern and Northern China ( Pesenko 2005b).
