Type locality: Sangy-dzhuman Pass ( Uzbekistan).
Published (original) locality: corresponds to data on the holotype label (see below).

Paralectotypes: 3 ♀, the same label as in holotype.
Current status. Halictus (Protohalictus) funerarius Morawitz, 1876 .
Distribution. A rare montane Central Asian species: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Western Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Northeastern Afghanistan, and Northwestern China ( Pesenko 2005a).
