Current status. Halictus (Protohalictus) rubicundus ( Christ, 1791)   (synonymized by Ebmer 1988: 552).

Distribution. Europe, North Africa, Russia, Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, Korean Peninsula, Japan, North America ( Astafurova & Proshchalykin 2017b).
