Rhynocoris View in CoL sp.

( Fig. 5D, E View FIGURE 5 )

Material examined: UGANDA: Kabarole district, Sogohi River near Itwara forest reserve, 0°50′36″N 30°29′27″E, 21.iii.1995, hand-collected, leg. Rolf Garms (1 ♂) GoogleMaps .

Remark: Using the key of Villiers (1948) this specimen runs into R. bicolor (see above), but both its coloration and the male genitalia slightly differ from it. The fore and mid femora are ventrally, the hind femora at the basal third dorsally and ventrally whitish (not reddish), as is the pygophore, which in addition has a slightly different shape. Furthermore, the parameres are distinctly stronger and apically more densely pilose. The posterior lobe of pronotum shows some infuscation medially and at the hind margin bordering the corium, and the discal cell is rectangular (not elongate).
