New records. OREGON: Klamath Co.: Two pools, on ridgeline above east side of Upper Klamath Lake, on Forest Service Road 9714, 19 April 2003, D.C Rogers, C. L. Rogers.

Comments. This represents the first record of this species in Oregon. Branchinecta oriena was previously reported from California and adjacent Nevada at high elevations in the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Mountains (Belk and Rogers 2002). This represents a range extension of approximately 130 km.
