Our records are about 200 km north of the Ontario records mapped by Wallis (1961) but within the range mapped by Pearson et al. (2015) ( Fig. 6 View Fig ). Cicindela limbalis ranges further north in Alberta ( Acorn 2001) and the Northwest Territories ( Catling 2006). This species is widely distributed and typically associated with clay or bare soil with sparse vegetation on banks, roads, forest openings, or bare slopes (Pearson et al. 2015).
