Remarks.

The Portuguese specimens molecularly analyzed in this study match the description of L. maculata . These individuals form a unique BIN ( BOLD: AFW 6935), with the nearest neighboring BIN being BOLD: ACS 0248, which includes specimens of L. maculata from Norway, the Netherlands and France. The p - distance between these two clusters was estimated at 4.3 %.

Distribution.

Holarctic. Widespread in Europe. In Portugal previously reported from Alentejo (Ribeira de Odivelas; Lundblad 1956).
