Diagnosis: Pronotum (Figs. 12a–d) without or with small, blunt tubercles; prozona low, without or with indistinct lobes; lateral projections of mesozona ansent or indistinct; metazona mostly short and broad, its lateral margins convex, hind margin mostly rounded; male tegmina (Figs. 12a, c, e) very short and broad, broadly rounded, cover first 1–3 abdominal tergites from above; axillary 1 and axillary 2 veins of male hind wing distinct and separated; distal excision of dorsal carina of hind femur less distinct, its ventral carina slightly wavy; inner side of hind femur red, very slightly darkened in some specimens, its ventral and apical parts turn to pinkish-red; inner side of hind tibia light red or pinkish-red; male penis valves (Figs. 12g, h) slen- der apically, their apices slightly recurved in lateral view, very narrowed in posterior view; lophi (Fig. 12i) with less than 10 sparse spines in typical forms, posterior margin of epiphallus (Fig. 12i) with a broadly rounded projection.

This species is near to G. escherichi inermis by the general appearance of pronotum in both sexes and short male tegmina. Differs from it by the male penis with slender apical valves, longer and lower prozona, metazona with rounded hind margin, broader male tegmina, distinct axillary 1 vein, the color of hind tibia and distribution. The rounded hind margin of metazona, the color of hind tibia and the male tegmina with widened apex are similar to G. ovipennis . But different from it by the lower prozona, blunt, indistinct or absence of lateral projections of mesozona, the shape of male tegmina, developed male hind wing, mesotibia with dorsal tubercles in male, shape of female tegmina and distribution. It has similar coloration of hind tibia (pinkishred) with G. efe . But it is very different from it by all the other characteristics.

Distribution: ( Fig. 15). Turkey: S of Aegean Region and W of Mediterranean Region of Turkey: N and W of Antalya, S of Isparta, Burdur, S of Denizli, NE of Muǧla.

Remarks: The body size, the shape of pronotum and clarity of its tubercles, the shape of metazona, the clarity of the lateral projections of mesozona, the width of tegmina and the spines number of lophi are more or less variable, e.g. the spines number of lophi is more in the population collected from Denizli than the typical form.
