Description. Small-sized species. Body length (including forewing): male, 4.2–4.5 mm; female, 4.2–4.8 mm.

Coloration. General color light brown. Crown ( Fig. 1A–O View FIGURE 1 ) and pronotum with darker brown markings, eyes ( Fig. 1A–O View FIGURE 1 ) yellowish in holotype (brown to darker brown in paratypes). Clypeus ( Fig. 1K–O View FIGURE 1 ) black. Pronotum, scutellum and face brown to darker brown. Forewings ( Fig. 1A–E View FIGURE 1 ) clavus with large yellow transcommissural spot bordered with dark brown. Legs ( Fig. 1F–J View FIGURE 1 ) yellow white to green.

Wing venation. Forewing with only middle subapical cell closed.

Male genitalia. Pygofer ( Fig. 1P View FIGURE 1 ) relatively long in lateral view. Male valve ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ) basal margin not curved, apex convex medially, with a sharp projection. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 1P View FIGURE 1 ) with dorsal margin broadly convex, apex rounded. Connective ( Fig. 1P View FIGURE 1 ) with short stem. Style ( Fig. 1R View FIGURE 1 ) with fine teeth along medial margin. Aedeagal shaft ( Fig. 1R, S View FIGURE 1 ) wide and compressed, base expanded, with a pair of long preapical processes, each with short inner secondary process arising from near base.

Measurements (mm). Male: body length 4.20–4.50, face length 1.10–1.30, width 1.20–1.40; distance between ocelli 0.40–0.50; distance from ocellus to eyes 0.20–0.30; medial length of pronotum 0.45–0.50, width 0.60–0.65; scutellum length 0.70–0.75, width 0.50–0.55.

Type material. Holotype, ♂, Yingjiang County, Yunnan Province, China. (97° 38′ 33″ E, 24° 37′ 04″ N; H: 1385 m), 01 June 2019, coll. Chao Zhang, Jiajia Wang & Xiaoling Zhou. GoogleMaps Paratypes, 15♂♂ 6♀♀, same informa- tion as holotype.

Remarks. The new species can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the wide and flat aedeagal shaft with a subapical pair of long and bifurcate processes.

Etymology. The new species name is derived from the words “ furca- ” and “ processus ”, referring to the bifurcate aedeagal processes.
