Diagnosis: Females of S. wayala spec. nov. can be distinguished from other Sinopoda species by the following combination of characters: 1. small ALE and PLE, 2. lobal septum covering nearly whole epigyne and with median indentation anteriorly, 3. epigynal pockets extending only in anterior part of epigyne, 4. glandular appendages curved and extending only in anterior half of internal duct system, 5. posterior part of spermathecae bulging lateroventrally, spherical and distinctly wider than anterior part and 6. fertilization ducts situated postero-medially.

Description: Female (holotype): Total length 15.90; prosoma 7.10 long, 5.70 wide, anterior width of prosoma 3.30; opisthosoma 8.80 long, 5.10 wide. Cheliceral furrow with 3 anterior and 4 posterior teeth.

Colouration in ethanol: Prosoma yellowish-brown, medially with brown stripes, anterior part red, posterior and lateral margin brown. Sternum yellow with brown margin. Opisthosoma ventrally and dorsally greyish-yellow, dorso-medially with four brown spots. Chelicerae reddish-brown. Palps yellowish-brown; Mt reddish-brown.
