Sinopoda licenti (Schenkel) View in CoL . Jäger, 1999: 21 (Tmf from Heteropoda View in CoL ).

Material examined (2 females): 1 female ( PJ 323 ) CHINA: Shandong Province: Qingdao , 07 September 1932 ( NHMB) . 1 female (SD 1595) with same data except: Hoangho-Paiho. ( MNHN) .

Extended diagnosis: Females of S. licenti are similar to those of S. luyui Zhong et al., 2019 in having short glandular appendages and the antero-lateral margin of the lateral lobes being long and transversal. They can be distinguished from the latter species by 1. presence of sclerotised bulges lateral of lobal septum (absent in S. luyui ), 2. lateral lobes posteriorly with broad median indentation (posteriorly with small median indentation in S. luyui ), 3. lateral margin of lateral lobes situated at median part of epigyne (situated at anterior part in S. luyui ) and 4. anterior part of internal duct system triangular-shaped (rounded in S. luyui ).

Description: Female (PJ 323): Total length 18.50; prosoma 9.30 long, 8.10 wide, anterior width of prosoma 4.60; opisthosoma 9.20 long, 5.40 wide. Eye measurements: AME 0.38; ALE 0.56; PME 0.39; PLE 0.55; AME– AME 0.29; AME–ALE 0.13; PME–PME 0.48; PME–PLE 0.58; AME–PME 0.49; ALE–PLE 0.56; clypeus AME 0.50; clypeus ALE 0.42. Leg formula: 2143. Measurements of palp and legs: palp: 13.20 (3.80, 2.00, 3.20, 4.20); I: 38.50 (10.40, 4.80, 10.60, 9.70, 3.00); II: 42.60 (11.80, 5.00, 11.80, 10.70, 3.30); III: 34.70 (9.80, 4.20, 9.60, 8.50, 2.60); IV: 37.40 (10.50, 4.00, 9.90, 9.90, 3.10). Cheliceral furrow with 3 anterior and 4 posterior teeth.

Colouration in ethanol: Prosoma yellowish-brown, posterior part brown with transversal yellow stripe. Sternum yellow. Opisthosoma yellowish-brown with brown spots, median part with four brown dots, ventrally yellowishbrown. Chelicerae reddish-brown. Palps and legs yellowish-brown.

Copulatory organ as in diagnosis. Epigynal field wider than long with two long anterior discontinuous bands and two slit sensilla. Lateral lobes strongly developed, fused. Lobal septum short, narrow and tapering. Epigynal pockets running from latero-median to medio-anterior. Fusion bubbles situated medially on epigyne. Internal duct system nearly as long as wide. Anterior and median part of spermathecae fused along median line. Glandular appendages extending barely from posterior half of internal duct system. Fertilization ducts situated postero-laterally, curved.

Variation: Female (SD 1595): Total length 20.50; prosoma 10.00 long, 9.00 wide, anterior width of prosoma 5.20; opisthosoma 10.50 long, 9.10 wide. Measurements leg IV: total length 40.90, Fe 11.70, Pa 4.50, Ti 10.90, Mt 11.00, Ta 2.80. Spination: legs: Pa III–IV 0001; Ti IV 2226.
