Additional material examined: female ( PJ 919 ) , CHINA: Guangxi Province: Mashan, Gin Lun Cave , dry fossil passage, 08 January 1988, P. Fogg leg. ( RMNH); 1 juvenile (SD 1556) with same data as holotype ( RMNH) .

Extended Diagnosis: Females of S. crassa are similar to those of S. unicolor spec. nov. ( Figs. 50 View FIGURES 50 a–b) in having fused lateral lobes with a wide median indentation posteriorly and glandular appendages extending barely in posterior half of internal duct system. They can be distinguished from the latter species by 1. smaller body size reaching 15.50 (24.40 in S. unicolor spec. nov.), 2. prosoma yellowish-brown with brown stripes and opisthosoma yellow (prosoma and opisthosoma reddish-brown with pattern in S. unicolor spec. nov.), 3. lobal septum anteriorly without deep median indentation (anteriorly with deep median indentation in S. unicolor spec. nov.), 4. spermathecae fused along median line (spermathecae partly fused along median line in S. unicolor spec. nov.) and 5. glandular appendages with anterior part narrow (anterior part wide in S. unicolor spec. nov.).

Description: Female (holotype): Total length 15.50; prosoma 7.00 long, 5.60 wide, anterior width of prosoma 3.80; opisthosoma 8.50 long, 4.60 wide. Eye measurements: AME 0.28; ALE 0.45; PME 0.31; PLE 0.46; AME–AME 0.25; AME–ALE 0.06; PME–PME 0.30; PME–PLE 0.44; AME–PME 0.42; ALE–PLE 0.43; clypeus AME 0.62; clypeus ALE 0.55. Leg formula: 2413. Measurements of palp and legs: palp: 11.35 (3.50, 1.70, 2.65, 3.50); I: 30.55 (8.20, 3.50, 8.80, 7.70, 2.35); II: 33.20 (9.30, 3.70, 9.60, 8.20, 2.40); III: 27.45 (7.95, 3.20, 7.30, 6.80, 2.20); IV: 30.60 (8.50, 3.10, 8.40, 8.20, 2.40). Spination: palp: 131, 101, 2121, 1014; legs: Fe I–III 323, IV 321; Pa I–II 001, III 101, IV 100; Ti I–II 2026, III–IV 2226; Mt I 0004, II 1014, III 2014, IV 3036. Cheliceral furrow with 3 anterior and 4 posterior teeth.

Colouration in ethanol: Prosoma yellowish-brown, anterio-lateral margin dark brown, posterio-laterally with brown margin, medio-laterally with four brown stripes on each side, posteriorly with yellow transversal stripe. Sternum yellow with brown margin. Opisthosoma dorsal and ventral part yellow, strongly setose, laterally with brown stripes. Chelicerae reddish-brown. Palps yellowish-brown; Mt reddish-brown. Legs yellowish-brown.

Copulatory organ as in diagnosis. Epigynal field wider than long with two slit sensilla, right one inside field, left one close to field. Epigynal pockets narrow, running from latero-posterior to medio-anterior. Lobal septum wide. Internal duct system nearly as wide as long. Anterior part of spermathecae wider than posterior part. Fertilization ducts situated posteriorly, long, curved and narrow.
