Male. Overall coloration ocher to brownish yellow. Head in dorsal aspect anterior margin forming obtuse angle, in facial aspect generally pale ocher to pale yellow, frontoclypeus with transverse black marking on middle, vertex more or less darker, apical margin of crown without black spot, vertex with two spots. Face in lateral aspect bowed, ventral part of frontoclypeus slightly wider than anteclypeus, posterior margin of antennal ledge closer to apical margin of anteclypeus than apical margin of crown. Pronotum uniformly ocher to brownish yellow, fore margin with distinctly black patch behind each eye, posterior margin slightly brighter, first plural sclerite in lateral aspect distinctly rounded with black spots. Scutellum generally pale ocher to pale yellow, usually brighter than pronotum, distinctly large, as large as pronotum, with large black scutellar spots. Tarsi of legs without any patterns or spots, hind tibia in lateral aspect with small single spot. Forewing with pale gray patterns. Tergal apodemes of 2nd abdominal base comparatively long, triangular, divided by trapezoidal notch, inner margin slightly convergent. Sternal apodemes narrow, convergent, separated by triangular notch.
Male genitalia. Pygofer appendage more or less narrow, apical margin bent outwards. Style narrow, armed dorsal from ventral margin, near to apical margin wider, apical tooth bent inwards. Aedeagus in lateral aspect narrow, 1.166 times wider than length, subparallel margined.
Length. Male 4.7–5.0 mm.
Type materials. Holotype: male, Seoraksan , Gangwon-do province, Korea, 2.vii.1984, Y.J. Kwon (KNU) . Paratypes: 4 males, same data as holotype .
Distribution. Korea (Central).
Etymology. The specific name refers to the country of type locality.
Host plant. Unknown.
Remarks. This species can be easily separated from all other species of this genus by the unique color pattern of the male head and pronotum.
