Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 .
Macropsis perpetua Tishechkin, 1996a: 364 View in CoL .
Male. Generally grayish yellow to grayish pale yellow. Head in dorsal aspect anterior margin forming obtuse angle, in facial aspect usually pale yellow with two orange spots and black concave spots on frontoclypeus vertex generally darker, nearby apical margin of crown with grayish pattern, apical margin of crown with black spot, vertex with two black spots. Face in lateral aspect distinctly flat, ventral part of frontoclypeus slightly wider than anteclypeus, posterior margin of antennal ledge closer to apical margin of crown than apical margin of anteclypeus. Pronotum generally grayish yellow to grayish pale yellow, fore margin pale yellow, with dark patch and two tiny spots behind each eye, posterior margin more or less brighter, first plural sclerite in lateral aspect rounded, with black spots. Scutellum with black scutellar spots. Claws of fore leg and mid leg with dark pattern, hind tibia in lateral aspect with black stripe each, apical margin of tarsus without black spot. Forewing dark brown with hyaline brown veins, posterior margin darker. Tergal apodemes of 2nd abdominal base comparatively long, convergent, tapered before apical margin, divided by rounded notch. Sternal apodemes narrow, convergent, occasionally bifurcated with asymmetrical notch.
Male genitalia. Pygofer appendage narrow, apical margin slightly bent inwards. Style distinctly wide, parallel margined, apical margin armed with large apical tooth. Aedeagus in lateral aspect 1.18 times wider than length, subparallel margined.
Female. Usually brighter than male, background colouration grayish ocher to grayish pale yellow. Head in facial aspect usually yellow with two tiny orange spots and black concave spots on frontoclypeus, nearby apical margin of crown without grayish pattern, apical margin of crown with black spot, vertex with two black spots. Face in lateral aspect nearly flat, center of eye slightly closer to apical margin of crown than to apical margin of lorum. Pronotum generally grayish yellow to grayish ocher, fore margin no more produced than in male, with dark patch and two tiny spots behind each eye, posterior margin usually brighter, first plural sclerite in lateral aspect nearly rounded, with black spots. Scutellum distinctly yellow with black scutellar spots, two concave orange spots between scutellar spots. Claws of each leg with dark pattern, hind tibia in lateral aspect with black stripe each, apical margin of tarsus without black spot. Forewing dark brown with hyaline brown veins, veins brighter than male, posterior margin darker.
Female genitalia. Valvulae-II with 2–3 preapical teeth each.
