Description: See Logunov (1996).
Remarks: Colouration variable, light with striped pattern to dark without stripes but with abdominal scutum. Differently coloured specimens occur at the same site. Distribution: Widely distributed in Europe and northern Africa; known also from Yemen. New to the UAE.
