Rhopalomenia Simroth, 1893

Rhopalomeniidae with several intercrossing layers of tangential sclerites. With separate mouth opening, two pairs of foregut glandular organs, one of type A (duct with subepithelial glandular cells or exoepithelial­extraepithelial glands) and a second pair of type C (organ with epithelial glandular cells or exoepithelial­intraepithelial glands) with nonglandular duct; without radula (sheath may be present), with dorso­terminal sense organ, with unpaired secondary genital opening, without copulatory stylets and respiratory organs.
