Material examined.

1 ♂, 1 ♀: MAK-2.

Note.

This large species may be H. confusus Régimbart, 1903, a species endemic to Madagascar, or H. badeni Sharp, 1882, also present in continental Sub-Saharan Africa ( Biström 1996).

Distribution.

Unknown.

Habitat in study area.

Same as Hydrovatus dentatus (see above)
