Description. Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, apex obtusely rounded, dorsal surface with 1 thin furrow along the midline ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ). Eyes nearly semiglobular, projecting outwards. Apical segments of maxillary palpi as long as subapical ones, apices faintly inflated ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ).

Pronotum elongate, anterior margin of pronotum faintly arched, posterior margin obtusely rounded, protruding backward; lateral lobes longer than deep, narrowing to backward, humeral sinus absent ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ). Tegmina slightly surpassing the posterior margin of pronotum, reaching the middle area of second abdominal tergite, apices obtusely rounded and partly overlapped; hind wings absent.

Procoxae with 1 spine. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, apices of genicular lobes of postfemora obtusely rounded. Protibiae with 4 internal and 5 external spines on ventral surface, apices with 1 pair of ventral spurs; protibial tympana oval, opened on both sides. Mesotibiae with 2 internal spines, 4 external spines and 1 pair of apical spurs on ventral surface. Posttibiae with 25–27 internal spines and 25–29 external spines on dorsal surface, ventral surface with 3 internal spines and 4–6 external spines, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs.

Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite projecting with a small median concavity. Cerci densely setose; basal half of cerci stout ( Fig. 5D View FIGURE 5 ), interno-dorsal margin with semicircular expansion, the internal margin extending to ventral surface in middle area, interno-ventral margin with 1 finger-shaped process near base; apical half slender and spine-shaped which incurved, apices subacute ( Fig. 5D View FIGURE 5 ). Subgenital plate longer than wide, narrowing posteriorly lateral margins terminating and about apical third area constricted, posterior margin with long and spine-shaped projecting, apices gradually upcurved and acute ( Fig. 5J, L View FIGURE 5 ). Styli small, inserted on the ventral surface of apical third of subgenital plate.

Female. Seventh abdominal tergite with a small tubercule on each side; lateral margins of eighth abdominal tergite with an obvious tubercle at apices ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ); lateral margins of ninth abdominal tergite with apices widely extending posteriorly, the margin of apical area widely rounded ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ); tenth abdominal tergite narrow with posterior margin arced concave ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ). Epiproct small and tongue-shaped, posterior margin rounded ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ). Cerci very short and conical, gradually narrowing, apices acute. Subgenital plate roughly rectangular in ventral view, baso-lateral areas round and upcurved, the ventral surface concave, apical half with subparallel lateral margins with a median carina on ventral surface ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ), posterior margin faintly angular concave, the lateral angels rounded ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ). Ovipositor slightly upcurved behind middle area, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, dorsal valvulae with apices acute, ventral valvulae with a short hook ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ).

Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Eyes dark brown. Dorsal surface of head with 4 longitudinal brown stripes: the internal stripes broad and fused to the apex of fastigium verticis, the external stripes extend to internal margins of antennal sockets ( Figs. 5B View FIGURE 5 , 6A View FIGURE 6 ). Pronotal disc with 1 pair of longitudinal black stripes, between the stripes brown. Abdominal tergites dark brown.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Darongshan, Beiliu , Guangxi, August 7, 2022, coll. by Qianwen Zhang and Shan Li . Paratypes: 5 males and 6 females, the other information as holotype. Other specimens: 3 males and 1 female, Darongshan, Beiliu, Guangxi, August 6, 2022, coll. by Qianwen Zhang and Shan Li ; 23 males and 34 females, the other information as holotype.

Measurements (mm). Body: ♂ 8.1 – 9.7, ♀ 8.6 – 9.1; pronotum: ♂ 3.8 – 3.9, ♀ 3.7 – 4.9; tegmen: ♂ 3.3 – 3.5, ♀ 3.7 – 4.0; postfemur: ♂ 8.3 – 8.7, ♀ 8.6 – 9.4; ovipositor: 4.5–5.4.

Distribution. Guangxi (Beiliu).

Discussion. The new species differs from Phlugiolopsis (Longiloba) montana Wang, Li & Liu, 2012 by ventral process of male cerci small and finger-shaped at base; the posterior process of male subgenital plate long and narrow with apex acute; female subgenital plate subrectangular in ventral view, lateral margins of apical half subparallel lateral margins with median carina on ventral surface ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ).

Etymology. The name of the new species is derived from the male subgenital plate with baso-lateral angles expanded.
