Type species Iphigensia storozhenkoi Khramov , gen. et sp. nov.
Diagnosis. Branches of RP numerous (>40), crossveins scarce, nearly one third of branches of RP fused into Crs, Crs nearly as long as MA, CuA reaches the mid-length of the wing.
Etymology. The generic name is derived from Iphigenia, a character in Greek mythology.
