Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jiulaodong / 1980.6”; (2) handwritten on white label: “ Pegomya hama- / tacrophalla sp. / n.”; (3) printed on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (4) red label with no writing; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya hamatacrophalla / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (6) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / hamatacrophalla / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide pinned with the specimen; left wing, right fore and hind legs mounted on paper triangle. Missing parts: right wing.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jiulaodong / 81.6”; (2) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya hamatacrophalla / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / hamatacrophalla / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; right wing mounted on the first label. Missing parts: right mid leg; tibia and tarsus of right fore leg; right hind leg.
