Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jiulaodong / 80.6”; (2) handwritten on white label: “ Pegomya / flavipre / coxa sp.n.”; (3) red label with no writing; (4) handwritten on white label: “collector Anxiao Deng ”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya flaviprecoxa / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (6) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / flaviprecoxa / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide pinned with the specimen; head mounted on paper triangle. Missing parts: tarsi of left legs; tarsi of right mid and hind legs.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Huayanding / 84.6”; (2) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya flaviprecoxa / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / flaviprecoxa / Li et Deng ”.
