Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 83.5”; (2) handwritten on white label: “collector Anxiao Deng ”; (2) handwritten on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya / lutaepiculis / Identifier: Zide Fan”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / lutaepiculis / Deng et Li ”.

Preservation: pinned; abdomen, left fore leg and right mid leg mounted on the first label. Missing parts: tibia and tarsus of right fore leg.

Additional notes: Holotype collected at Jinding of Mount Emei , Sichuan Province.

Current name: Pegomya lutaepiculis Deng & Li, 1988 .
