48 Podarcis muralis View in CoL - The observed phylogeographic structure of P. muralis does not match the current subspecific division of this species in Italy (Giovannotti et al., 2010; Salvi et al., 2013). Pending a comprehensive revision of the status of the Italian populations, at the moment we refrain from adopting any subspecies.
