Lectotype (Ali in Nasir & Ali, Fl. W. Pakistan 100: 97. 1977): Herb. Linn. No. 916.3 ( LINN) .

Generitype of Glycyrrhiza Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 175. 1929).

Current name: Glycyrrhiza glabra L. ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).
