Distribution.
Caucasus: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia. – Turkey ( Blüthgen 1925, 1931; Warncke 1975).
Remarks.
This species was described by Blüthgen (1931: 346) from Azerbaijan (Helendorf [Goygol]) and Russia (Prikumsk [Stavropol Terr., Budenovsk]), but was overlooked in the catalogue of Russian bees ( Astafurova and Proshchalykin 2017; Proshchalykin et al. 2023).
