Key to the males of Falsocis Pic
1 Frontoclypeal ridge with corners obtusely angulate ( Fig. 3–4 View FIGURES 3 – 6 ). Anterior pronotal plate completely concealing the head from above ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ), with anterior margin bearing a row of stout setae similar to those of lateral margins. Pronotal disc ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ) with dense punctation, punctures separate by a distance of one puncture width or less. Elytral apices explanate and broadly crenulate ( Figs 1–3 View FIGURES 1 – 2 View FIGURES 3 – 6 ). Epipleura larger at base and tapering to basal third, then expanding again until the apex ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 3 – 6 ). Aedeagus elongate, around four times as long as wide ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 3 – 6 ). TL around 3mm. Head partially visible from above ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7 – 8 ). Apex of anterior pronotal plate bearing a patch of long setae on either side ( Figs 7 View FIGURES 7 – 8 , 9–11 View FIGURES 9 – 10 View FIGURES 11 – 12 ). Pronotal disc with sparse punctation ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7 – 8 ), punctures separate by a distance of one to three puncture widths. Elytral apices broadly rounded. Epipleura larger at base and tapering to basal third, then continuing as a narrow line ( Figs 9 View FIGURES 9 – 10 , 11 View FIGURES 11 – 12 , 16 View FIGURES 13 – 16 ). Aedeagus subquadrate, around twice as long as wide ( Figs 20, 22 View FIGURES 20 – 23 ). TL 2.00– 2.80mm.
