Type Locality: Papua New Guinea, Central Province, Mt. Albert Edward, 3000 m on south side of Neon Basin.
Vernacular Names: Calaby's Pademelon.
Distribution: Known from Mt. Albert Edward and Mt. Giluwe, Eastern highlands of Papua New Guinea, about 3000 m.
Conservation: IUCN – Endangered.
