Materialexamined. 1 ovigerous female ( MGAB CUM1759), Lang Bank, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Caribbean Sea, 17°50'03.1560"N, 64°28'33.0240"W, 55 m, May 6, 2012, collected by Nikolaos V.Schizas during the 2012 UPRM-DMS Mesophoticcruise; 1 subadultfemale ( MGAB CUM1796), San Cristobalreef, La Parguera, Puerto Rico, Caribbean Sea, September 6, 2012, 3 m, 17°56'28.68"N, 67° 04'34.75" W, collected by Nikolaos V.Schizas.
Diagnosis. Carapace with 2 parallel rows of 6 denticles on ocular lobe, uropodal peduncle with serrate margins without medial setae, endopod with 2 medial setae in female, 4 inmale.
Remarks: This is the first record of the species from Puerto Ricoand U.S. Virgin Islands.
Distribution: Belize( Petrescu, 2002), ExumaIslands of Bahamas( Petrescu, 2003), Puerto Ricoand U.S. Virgin Islands(present report). Depth range: 1– 21 m.
