An examination of the holotyperevealed that the specimen resembles a small specimen of  A. umbrosawith yellowish elytra; apart from the shorter antennae with somewhat more transverse preapical antennomeres, no distinguishing characters were found. The possibility that the holotypeis conspecific with  A. umbrosacannot be ruled out with certainty, but a clarification of the status of  A. rougemontiwill be possible only when males from Yemenbecome available. 1984-02 MCSNV V.
