T y p e m a t e r i a l e x a m i n e d: Holotype ♂[dissected prior to present study]: " Iran: Kermanshahan, Heinz leg. / Songhor, ca. 1800 m, 7.VIII.1969/ ♂- Holotypus Quedius( Sauridus) orientalisKorge" (MNB). Paratypes: 2♀♀: same data as holotype(MNB).
C o m m e n t: The original description is based on a male holotypeand two female paratypesfrom "Songhor, ca. 1800 m, Kermanshahan ( Iran)" ( KORGE 1971b). In external ( Fig. 25) and the male sexual characters ( Figs 15-17) similar to Q. hermonensis, Q. orientalisis characterized particularly by the shape of the median lobe of the aedeagus, which has the apex very acute in ventral view. The species is currently known only from Iran( Map 1).
