LGE17077.   Diagnosis.The species is distinguished from congeners by the mostly white forewing with only short dark fuscous costal streaks and yellow apex. The male and female genitalia are diagnosed by the digitate anellus lobe bearing two hooked bristles and the corpus bursae with two signa, respectively. The female genitalia having more than one signum are unusual in the genus.   Description.Adult ( Fig. 20G). Wingspan 10.5−13.5 mm. Head white. Labial palpus white; segment III as long as II, apical half fuscous on ventral surface. Antenna with scape white; flagellum dark brown to fuscous except basal 1/3 or 1/2 of dorsal surface white, male cilia as long as diameter. Thorax and tegula white. Forewing ground color white, anterior edge of costa black in basal half; apical spot very small and round; markings dark fuscous: two costal streaks from distal 1/3 and 1/5 of wing, respectively, first streak much wider, attenuated toward apex, confluent with second streak before apical spot, sometimes shortly curved inwardly; second streak slender, sometimes indistinct; beyond this, costa and anterior 1/3 of termen yellow; fringe on apical area creamy white with subterminal and terminal fuscous bands, on termen yellow except distal half fuscous, on dorsum white. Hindwing grey except apex white; fringe creamy white to light grey, apical area with a somewhat indistinct, fuscous terminal band. Legs white; fore femur, tibia and tarsus dark fuscous on outer surface; mid tibia with a short, oblique fuscous streak before apex; mid and hind tarsi with first tarsomere fuscous medially, remaining tarsomeres fuscous basally.  Male sternum VIII( Fig. 27M). Approximately 1/6 length of abdomen, elongate trapezoidal, posterior apex concave.  Male genitalia( Fig. 44C). Uncus broadly oval, sparsely setose along apical margin. Gnathos hook simple, moderately long. Tegumen approximately 3 times as long as uncus. Valva slender, almost uniformly elongate, distal half densely setose, rounded at apex. Anellus lobe digitate, approximately 1/3 length of valva, bearing two hooked apical bristles. Juxta produced at base of inner margin. Vinculum simple, broad. Saccus triangular or pentagonal, slightly exceeding tegumen pedunculus. Aedeagus with basal half dilated, then gradually narrowed toward apex, apex slightly twisted.  Female genitalia( Fig. 61B). Papillae anales weakly sclerotized except base of apophyses posteriores.Apophyses anteriores slightly longer than 1/2 length of apophyses posteriores. Tergum VIII very weakly sclerotized. Sternum VIII deeply concave posteriorly, produced anteriorly in U-shape. Ostium bursae round or somewhat flask-shaped. Ductus bursae narrow, antrum weakly developed, ductus seminalis arising from anterior 1/5 or 1/6; small and round signum near entrance of corpus bursae, consisting of minute denticles. Corpus bursae obovate or elliptical, as long as ductus bursae; signum round, near posterior margin, larger than the one on ductus bursae, bulged inward, with minute denticles.   Distribution. China( Henan, Hubei, Sichuan).   Etymology.The species name is derived from Latin, flavus(yellow) and terminatus(terminated), referring to the yellow-tipped forewing.   Remarks.This species was included in the phylogenetic study of Thiotrichinae( Lee et al. 2021) as  Thiotrichasp. 8.
