Diagnosis Omorgus badeniis similar in appearance to O. borrei. It can be distinguished from the latter by the presence of round shiny black tubercles on the odd-numbered elytral costae. Omorgus borreihave the odd-numbered costae marked by distinct flat lustrous areas. For a more detailed treatment of O. badeni, see Scholtz (1990). Geographic distribution In Brazil, Omorgus badenioccurs in the BA, CE, PE and RN states (Caatinga biome) ( Figure 9).
