Holotype female seen ( Figs 1–4); fore leg and mid and hind tarsi missing.
Diagnosis.Large species (6.8–7.0 mm); general colour brown with grey pollinosity; scutum with five brown vittae; palpus brown; coxae grey pollinose, fore coxa yellow at apex; legs yellow, except the grey pollinose basal half of fore femur on dorsal surface and a brown ring at apex of mid and hind femora; arista with short hairs; scutellum with both pairs of setae present and long, and with setulae on disc; anterior katepisternal about half as long as the posterior one; lower calypter about twice as long as the upper one; haltere yellow; fore tibia with a long median posteroventral seta; hind tibia with one anterior and one anterodorsal, the anterior a little beyond the anterodorsal; sternite 5 as in Fig. 41.
