Ortizleg., CMU.   Diagnosis:Males of  Z. costablancaecan be distinguished from other species within the  rubidumgroup by the embolus with an obliquely bent tip ( Fig. 14E). Females of this species can be differentiated from the closely related  Z. costaprataeby the height of the epigyne, which is at least 1.3 times larger ( Figs 15I, 17Cvs. Figs 15J, 17D), and by the simple broadening of the antero-median chitinous structure of the epigyne (vs. with wedge-shaped ridge in  Z. costapratae; cf. Figs 15I, 17Cand Figs 15J, 17D).   Description:For a detailed description of the habitus and male palp, refer to Bosmans (1994). Epigyne( Fig. 17C): Epigynal plate sub-trapezoidal, anteriorly limited by a broadened, antero-median chitinous structure. Sides of the epigynal plate S-shaped. Epigyne with a longitudinal septum, reaching the posterior part of epigyne and accompanied by a pair of copulatory openings on antero-lateral sides of the septum; these copulatory openings connected to a pair of lateral pits by connecting grooves.  Molecular data:  COI mitochondrial barcodes (Genbank accession):  MT370080, PP373361.   Maximum intraspecific COIdivergence(n=2): 2.3 %.  Minimum interspecific divergence(to  Z. machadoi): 7.1%.  Consensus COIdistance to the closest species(to  Z. styliferum): 3.1%.   Distribution: Spain. 2018-06-10 D.
