Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from all other Neotropical Epirhyssaby the combination of the following characters: 1) fore wing with two blackish bands; 2) apex of hind wing blackish; 3) facial orbits generally white (blackish in a few specimens); and 4) base of hind coxae orange.
