Associació formada per grans helòfits (bogues i se- nills) que colonitzen sòls hidromorfs o histosòls, inundats de forma permanent, per aigües poc profundes. Forma poblacions primocolonitzadores, amb gran capacitat propagativa, generalment molt es- pesses i homogènies. La seua propagació vegetativa rizomatosa dificulta la instal·lació d’altres plantes. Ocupa fragments de superfície reduïda, molt exi- gents pel que fa a la presència d’aigua. Sempre sobre aigües poc profundes i amb poca escorrentia, encara que poden suportar dessecacions temporals curtes a l’estiu. Es presenta en xicotets rodals al llarg d’aquest tram de la rambla de les Truites. Espècies característiques de l’associació i unitats superiors:   Alisma lanceolatumWith.   Carex otrubaePodp. R   Epilobium hirsutumL.</spm:hasContent>
