It is a marine taxa inhabiting warmer coasts, of Puerto Rico( Navarro 1983), Cuba( Foged 1984), the Mediterranean ( Witkowski et al.2000), the Bahamas( Hein et al.2008), the Cape VerdeIslands off the northwestern Africa ( Stidolph et al.2012), and the Baja California Peninsula of Mexico (Siqueiros-Beltrones et al.2017). In the Seogwipo coast, it is rarely encountered in rock pools along the Seogwipo coast in JejuIsland, representing a new record for South Korea.
